Colorado Crisis Center

The new Colorado Crisis Services are an available resource with 12 locations across the state. The closest one to Swanson is St. Anthony North over on 84th between Pecos and Federal. These state funded walk-in crisis centers will have anyone in crisis talking with a licensed professional within minutes of coming in the door or calling the hotline.

Arvada Community Food Banker

The Arvada Community Food Bank is located at 10405 West 64th Place, Arvada. The food Bank provides emergency food for households in the Arvada area. The area serviced by the Food Bank is 38th Avenue on the south, to 120th Avenue on the north, and from Sheridan Boulevard on the east, to the foothills. Swanson is within the service area.

Households, living in the area served, can receive a box of food six times in a twelve-month period. Each box is a well-balanced, healthy three-day supply of food. To receive a food box, a customer must provide a photo-id and a recent piece of mail showing current residence. No proof of need is required.

Colorado Hotline for Reporting Child Abuse or Neglect

Everyone in the community plays a role in the prevention of child abuse and neglect.

The Colorado Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline, 1-844-CO-4-Kids or 1-844-264-5437. The hotline is designed to provide one, easy-to-remember toll-free phone number for individuals to use statewide to report suspected child abuse and neglect.
